#1 of the Mekakushi Dan, and its leader. Flora respects Kido a great deal, and will do right by her however she can. She’s capable and caring, an admirable and strong person who looks out for her own, but is always welcoming of others. The Dan is a great place under her leadership, and Flora is beyond glad and grateful to have a place where she feels like she belongs, something she’s lost upon coming to Exsilium. The Dan aren’t a replacement, though, they’re a group of friends unto themselves and she cares for them and Kido as their own people. More personally, though, Flora loves and is incredibly protective of Kido, to the point that she considers her a younger sister. Which, for Kido, means she’s not above teasing her a little about her secret love of cute things sometimes, but she’ll always want to see her smile. Always.

#3 of the Dan. Kano's one of the first people to ever talk to Flora when she got here, and they haven’t really stopped since then. He’s been a light to her, honestly, especially in that first, long stretch of time when she was still finding her footing in the gloom and doom of this ruined Earth. He’s fun and he’s easy to talk to, but it hasn’t escaped her notice that he can be pretty shifty sometimes, able to fill the space with entertaining conversation while diverting any discerning attention away from himself. She’s just is sadly just recently starting to learn a little of his darker sides, but still has little to go on, which worries and frustrates her, because she wants to help. Shifty, indeed. Yet, at the end of the day, he is still a dear and precious friend to her, even if he can be rude sometimes, and she’s not about to leave him, no matter how difficult he gets.

#4 of the Dan. So adorable! Mary is just the most adorable thing, if skittish and easily-scared. A girl after Flora’s heart, that is to say she likes flowers, because that needs saying. She’s obviously hiding something about having powers, but that’s okay. People have their secrets.They’re always more than they seem, as well, and she wants to get to know Mary better to see what she’s like.

#5 of the Dan. A bright ray of sunshine. Or a hundred bright rays. Momo’s the type of person that makes life brighter just by being around, all the more noticeable in a world that’s endlessly grey. Even if she hasn’t talked to her too much yet, Flora finds herself wanting to do what she can to see that she’s still happy. A light like hers is a rare and precious thing, and should never go out.

#7 of the Dan. Occasionally, when Flora sees Shintaro, she often feels like she needs to offer him a cup of chamomile and lavender tea, just so he’ll just calm down. But he's actually pretty sensible in matters otherwise, and surprisingly levelheaded and rational in crisis situations. Still, she wonders if he ever feels like he’s getting swept along with everything that’s happening around him. Bottomline, Flora likes Shintaro and wants to get to know him better.

#9 of the Dan. NEEDS TO NOT BE HERE, HOLY BANANAS. SHE’S LIKE 5 YEARS OLD. Okay, but no, she’s twelve, and very smart and precocious. Flora doesn’t have a condescending bone in her body towards children, but she is still a child, and that inspires the want to look after her. Especially since she’s her sister age. She can’t get that association out of her head, it doesn’t help that she seems outspoken like her sister. But Kaede is incredibly responsible for her age, and is handling her unfortunate situation quite admirably from what Flora can tell.

Abrasive, rude, and inflammatory, there doesn’t seem to be much to like about Sollux, at first blush, but he can be pretty fun and funny. He’s also interesting, being quite contrary to the trolls she’s familiar and coming from a world that she’s never heard of. Annnd no longer exists. TY, Sgrub. Flora’s realised that she enjoys teasing him, sometimes, as well as being friendly to him. He came over on her birthday and gave her presensts! He also gave her some insight that doesn’t make him less prickly, but showed that there’s more to him. That he’s capable of caring about some things and people, sometimes. She would like to get to know him better, even if that’s not about to be an easy thing.

Accidental Protector and Sword and Rude Extra Roommate Who Watches Her Sleep Sometimes But Without Creepy Romantic Undertones. Just Regular Creepy Undertones. Technically called a Servant, even if she doesn't really like the implications of that, even after all this time. Flora made a contract with Berserker by accident, and in exchange for her magic, he looks after her as aggressively as he nags on her training habits, her powers, her choice of dress, what she has for breakfast in the morning, and whatever else he can take digs at her for.

So, very.

It annoys and irritates her, and she’s not afraid to call him on it, even as, at times, she pushes herself further and further because she does want his approval. Still, he’s been letting up on her as of late, and has actually been considerate of her feelings in surprising, if often subtle ways. Not to mention actually recognising her capabilities from time to time. It’s Christmas every time he does. Yet, it goes without saying that Flora’s relationship with him is a complex and layered one, at least on her end. She’s uncomfortable with the idea of him protecting her because he’s compelled to, so she tries to be someone a little more worthwhile in his eyes to make it a bit easier, but they seem to be getting past that. Or she is. However, Lancelot has done some heavy as heck stuff. Like really, really heavy and horrendous, and the fact that she’s dreamt of some of his personal memories drives it deeper than words ever could. She’s not sure she’ll be able to forget it. She juggles what he’s done with what he’s doing now: repenting, and is glad for it. Though she can't say she wishes for his death like he does, so much.

Flora respects, fears, cares for, hurts for, worries about, and trusts Lancelot a great deal. He’s long thought of himself as a tool, shaped to be one by someone else long before the Holy Grail War happened, and she steadfastly refuses to treat him as one, which grates on him, but she stands by it and hopes that he’ll one day come to see that. He might protect her body, but she is strangely fiercely protective of his heart, in this regard, and though they met and were bound by happenstance, but she'd stay by him by choice.

Flora likes Raiden. She respects his tireless and unwavering dedication to protecting the people at Exsilium a great deal. And yet, she sort of wishes he’d waver just a little bit; she can’t help but worry about him. Most of him might be machine, but he’s still a guy, and she’s concerned about how this might be stressing him. He never seems to stop, ever, that’s got to be taxing. At this rate, she’s not likely to ever see him outside a working capacity, but she’ll take what she can get. Considering that he’s a seasoned and incredibly capable warrior whose opinion she respects, that’s kind of a big deal.

Halfpipe is a breath of febreezed air that is somehow laced with antifreeze: refreshing, pleasant-smelling, but could be harmful if you’re not paying attention. She’s fun, sweet and caring. Flora always enjoys speaking with her, but she was casual about letting slip that she enjoys blood--but she’s not a vampire or anything like that, honest--and then proceeded to be dodgy about it. So yeah, that’s a thing. Flora likes her and wants to get to know her better, but she wants to find out just what her deal is, exactly, because she is a little wary of her, as well.

Man, but she’d love to go shopping with her, though.

KANEIS MAJOR (ZELOS WILDER)

It seems that any interaction or conversation she has with Kaneis, something around him is always broken. Machines (even if that was the mission, so he gets a pass), punching bags, furniture, her face (not his fault), and it seems, lastly, but not least, himself, even if she doesn’t quite know that. That said, she respects that he contributes his time to helping people in the clinic, especially since he has gone on record about how much he dislikes being here, publicly and at length. He’s a friendly guy, that, shockingly, Flora likes, even if they’re pretty new friends, as she’s finding. There’s a lot more to Kaneis than meets the eye, he’s quite literally just full of surprises and mysteries, some of them apparently dangerous, but honestly that is like everyone ever she knows, so she wouldn’t and isn’t counting that against him. She's come to realise that he has a cynical streak and has some issues with trust. While she doesn’t know enough about him and his circumstances to be particularly suspicious, she’s taking a more critical eye to him, but it’s more out of concern than anything approaching wariness. He worries her a great deal, and she just wants to help.

Being friends with him is like going on a kiddie rollercoaster, and enjoying the ride, only to suddenly across a 89 angle drop. (Hey, it’s not a straight 90 degrees, to his credit), but she’s staying on this ride.
