"Hello, there! This is Flora. I'm not here right now, but if you would like to leave a message, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Until then, thanks for your call, and have a wonderful day!"
I had a bit of a feeling, but it still does, a little. That's my fault, though. Besides, these things can be complicated, sometimes it's better not to assume.
[It's still lots of fun to gossip about, though.]
Hey, is that why you were weird and dodgy with the kits when we were handing them out? Did you want her to do it?
[She just wants to be happy for both of them, and what it means.
Also, Stephanie can probably break an arm in the time it takes someone to blink. Pretty sure there won't be enough ass left to kick if he does break her heart! 8D
But still very happy, okay.]
Who's that?
That depends, They do to me, and I could hopefully do something nice with them, but they're not for me. Do you know that she likes roses and daisies?
A character from a play by William Shakespeare. It's actually a terrible comparison to make because Romeo & Juliet were stupid teenagers who wound up dead. So...
Anyway, we haven't talked specifically about what kinds of flowers she likes. But I figure all roses is a little too cliche, and daisies just seem like they fit her.
Oh. Well. Yes, maybe not the best one, depending...I'm guess he was really romantic, though. So I guess take that part and leave the death, maybe?
Do people think roses really are cliche? How did that even happen? [Wow, that's really sad, if yes :c]
Oh, but if you think that combination would fit her, then that'll be fine. More than fine. You're thinking of her and it's coming form the heart, and that's what matters most.
Oh well, that's a shame. I mean, I don't really know anything about Valentine's Day, but if there's nothing that locks people in from giving other flowers, then I don't understand why they wouldn't. There are thousands of possibilities. Or perhaps maybe just hundreds, if I take different climates into account. I mean, I'm not certain, but many variety of roses have to do with love in floriography, in case that's what Valentine's Day might be about, but even so, so do others.

Yes, like as in romantically for Steph, because we've been together since October and if this surprises you at all you haven't been paying attention.

And more cliche are the roses given on Valentine's Day, except maybe that's less cliche than it is just a lack of imagination? IDK
But yes, I think she'll like those. So thank you.
[GOD FLORA STOP MAKING HIM BLUSH.]

Anyway, no charge, Saul. For either.

You sure? I can pay. And how long do you need?
no subject
Positive! Consider the flowers a Congratulations on being on the up and high.
[Because you're not on the down-low anymore, get it, Saul. Huh, Saul.]
I'm sure my profit margin will find a way to survive.

Congratulations aren't necessary, but thank you. Consider yourself owed.

And did you want a bouquet, or a vase? I could make an arrangement in the vase from the start, or you can have it ready separately.
And you don't owe me anything. If you want to pay me back, do something for someone else, maybe, if you can.

[You know, for display purposes. Brightening up the apartment. That stuff.]
Can I get them tomorrow?
no subject
Um, sure, but what's normal for you? And does she have a favourite colour? I could make the vase that, if it'll complement the flowers.
no subject
I think she'll punch me if I give her anything else purple, so I'll trust your judgment. Whatever color you think looks best.
no subject
Got it. Even if that's a shame, purple is such a wonderful colour.

Something like this?
[Pretend they are dark and light purple, okay.]

[...and really purple.
Ah, well. It's worth the ass-kicking.]
It's perfect. :)
